It's a start!

I've had a lovely few days away visiting my son and plenty of opportunity to start my summertime photography challenge.

7. A Curving Path

3. Repetition

10. Something Made of Stone - the stepping stones

1. An Outdoor Clock

12. Something Crooked

6. An Umbrella, open or closed

2. Single & Pretty - it's been a life long ambition of ours to see a kingfisher so although it's not a good shot as we were not allowed to open the hide window in case we disturbed the nesting birds, this shot has to be included.

This is a great challenge to take part in as it makes you more aware of your surroundings. Thank you Patio Postcards for sorting it all out. There's still lots of time to take part so do go over to the blog and have a look.

Summertime photography challenge

The beach huts have all been put up and it feels like summer is at last on the way. This year I'm going to make a determined effort to join in with Patio Postcards and her summertime photography challenge. I've printed off the list and I'm looking forward to getting started.
