the final few

 21. A photograph of you with a newspaper or calendar page from the time period covered in the Hunt

2. A footprint or pawprint

5. A porch or deck

6. A camper (caravan)

3. A skeleton, bone or x-ray - the grandchildren have all loved this story

an alternative 1. a lighthouse in place of the buffet of food.

and that is it for another year, I've managed a few good shots and some not so good ones but as always I've enjoyed getting out and looking for them all. A big thank you to Rinda who arranges this every year.

Memorandum Monday

It has been a week of celebrating yet another birthday, I think I was allowed a break from the diet.
The family really spoilt me and I have a lot more stash to play with.

I've finally made a start on my LSNED album, as usual I am keeping it very simple. These will all be put in my 2016 album.

I ordered the wrong divided page protectors recently which ended up quite a good thing. I suddenly remembered a few years ago I had done a digi version of LSNED so with the help of my blog I was able to find that it was in 2010. They were all 4x6 layouts which made them easy to print and place in my 2010 album, a first for me.

Memorandum Monday

I'm slowly getting back into a normal routine although I'm feeling incredibly lazy still. I do know though that I am happiest when I feel in control and  doing something.
With that in mind I've been trying to find more photos for Rinda's photography hunt.
16. a map showing a little walk we went on during a trip out yesterday

10. a bicycle

 12.  a window - I forced myself to clean the windows today, I really should do them more than once a year!
I treated myself to some gorgeous wool the other day and have been busy knitting a scarf, a nice easy knit while I watch Victoria and Poldark.

The something new I did this weekend? I got up early and walked round with my granddaughter while she did her newspaper round. I used to do this with her mum but it's the first time three generations have plodded up and down the roads. It did give me an opportunity to have a nose up all those little closes I've had no excuse to go up before, very nice they were too.

catching up

It's been a busy few weeks here with little time to spare for my blog, so I thought I would do a little catch up as I find this helpful when I'm making layouts in the future.

We all got together for Folk Week and there were lots of long walks down to the front to see
 The Thanet Rock choir perform
 15. The Folk Week team logo
 Morris dancers
There was time to celebrate a new teenager
listen to Dan Walsh who is a fantastic banjo player
enjoy fish and chips on the pier
stand and watch the waves and also get considerable amusement from people caught unawares
he had smoked salmon with scrambled eggs
while us lesser mortals had a full english, one even moaning because of the lack of baked beans
as my handsome grandson celebrated his birthday
we were entertained in the park
which lead to new skills being learnt
 we paddled

and searched 1. A naturally occurring heart

 the weather was perfect
 and kept us very busy
I even managed to do a few prompts from Shimelle's latest class

In all a good few weeks. I hope you all had a wonderful summer.
