Have just found out I’m one of the winners over on Shimelle’s blog here which has really made my day.
The only downside at the moment is I still can’t comment on certain blogs to thank you for comments received. I just want everyone to know I do appreciate all your comments and read your blogs and would leave a comment if I could.
For this challenge I decided to print out some recently acquired old slides photos. So many of my early married life was captured on slides, it’s been great looking back on them.
The papers are all GCD – Ava from the April Sarah’s Cards kit
To find out more about these challenges go to Shimelle’s blog here
another layout inspired by the hotpink hoopla class on Shimelle’s blog here. I love this old photo of Jamie, packed and ready to go with his Uncle!
Do go over to Shimelle’s blog and do some of these challenges.
last week in Shimelle’s Explore class we had to do 4 layouts using a set of papers, taking them up to the stage when they could be finished but just needed a bit extra. Today I’ve finished them off having been inspired by the videos for the class.
a layout using Mary Anne Walters printables for her class over on Shimelle’s blog here
You can join in the fun all week so do pop on over.

not had as much time as I wanted to scrap today but I’ve managed this layout using pebbles happy go lucky papers from a recent Sarah’s cards kit
This week we had to challenge ourselves to do something we’ve been putting off. I’m already trying to get fit and eat less, usually a big aim of mine, so that was out. I then decided to start sorting out things and took a bag to the charity shop this morning, something I’ve been thinking about all year, a good aim I’m sure, but then I remembered my walks album.
So I’ve been busy printing out digi layouts and mounting on cardstock and have started doing my backlog of walks.

I’ve also started 4 layouts using one kit, another prompt from Shimelle, I just have to finish them off now.

For as long as I can remember green has been my favourite colour, not most people’s choice I know but I have always wanted to be different. My engagement ring is made up of emeralds and diamonds, “emeralds are unlucky” my mother said, another reason to choose them in my book, I don’t believe in luck!
green reminds me of nature, it has a calming, peaceful effect.
a walk in the park
the fun of visiting the zoo
no matter how much we spoil the world, life goes on.
For all these reasons I would say green is my favourite colour, so why is it then that I tend to wear blue or brown more? Contrary as always!
