Me on Monday

Thinking back over a week of being spoilt as I celebrated a certain milestone in my life. My family are very special to me and I sometimes think I don't show them enough how much I love them all.
Joining in with Sian and wishing you all a good week xx

the final two

18. An overloaded truck, car, bicycle or other vehicle - off to the dump this morning

Alternative C: A rocking chair - replacing the flags, searched high and low but had to except defeat with that one

That's Rinda's summertime photography scavenger hunt finished for another year. It's been great fun if a bit tricky, looking forward to the next one.

7. A turtle

21. A photograph of you with a sign reading "2015 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt"

10. A college or university

the last few photos for Rinda's photography hunt nearly done. Might have to give up on the flags though.

I've made a start on my LSNED pages, keeping it simple and in my year album. I've used a 6x6 Shimelle true stories pad and this has helped me enjoy the process more. I like the way this format adds interest to my album and is making me think more of doing Project Life next year.

Me on Monday

Waving to Sian this miserable Monday afternoon but secretly pleased the weather has changed as I can get on with some scrapping instead of more gardening. We spent the morning out there and it's not one of my favourite jobs.

The weekend was a peaceful one for us with walks by the sea and watching the boats whilst sipping  coffee and eating cake, it's a hard life!!

Getting there slowly

2. An ornate door knocker

9. A tent - in the distance is the tent housing all the craft stalls during Folk Week

I still have a few shots left for Rinda's Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt, hopefully I will find them

August

Life has been very hectic here over the last few weeks, with lots of visitors, two special birthdays and as much time by the sea as possible. Things always seem to calm down in September as the tourists depart and the children go back to school, Although I love the hustle and bustle of summer, especially Folk Week, I have to admit it's good to get back to normal and that being so I am of course doing Shimelle's LSNED class as I have for several years now. Anyone else joining in?
