No computer

My computer has been out of action for a few days, so I have not been able to blog, using Andrew's at the moment!
It's a shame I couldn't blog my day yesterday as it was the 25th and therefore Scrap your day!!
I managed to take some boring photos as I was on my own all day, Ian had gone to Wimbledon with Peter, I should have gone really as it would have made some good photos for my journal, but the travelling and waiting to get in, put me off! They both had a great time however and thoroughly reccommend going.

My new toy!

I have been searching for this piece of equipment ever since I got Delia's How to Cheat cookbook! Obviously everyone else was after it too as Jenny and I couldn't get it anywhere, so many lazy cheating cooks about! Anyway, Jenny managed to track it down and we both got ours on Wednesday. It is such a great gadget to have, nice and small to sit on my work service and easy to clean. As you can see, I am already putting it to use chopping up onions and making breadcrumbs for my meatballs. All sorts of culinary delights will be made for Ian to savour, and not a jar of marmite in sight!!
I've also been busy with my scrapbooking, finishing of a CJ entry about my passions and our team sketch challenge, neither of which can I show yet!

Learn something new everyday

I spent the afternoon finally finishing mt "Learn something new everyday" journal, a class by Shimelle I started in september. We had to record a lesson, whoever small, we learnt each day. I only had these six pages to do but somehow never got round to doing them! I'm so glad I managed to finish this and I'm now looking forward to repeating it in September with some yummy new stash!

Weekly challenge

I managed to do the weekly challenge this afternoon using my sarah's cards kit.
We had to use a childhood photo so I used one of me playing two balls against the wall, driving mum and dad mad in the process!
We also had to use pink, something metal and stripes, they also wanted something recycled but I forgot that.

It seems ages since the holiday now, all the washing and ironing has been done, the house cleaned and the shopping done, I might never have been away!
