Blue skies but a bitterly cold wind today, I thought those people walking out to sea were very brave!

walk 5
Our walks have not been very exciting recently, due to the rain, but I have managed to scrap walk 5 for my album. Hopefully the weather will pick up soon and we will be able to try some new ones.

We went for a walk today as the sun was shining. It’s half term here and a few families were out enjoying the beach, makes you hope spring is on the way.

puzzles
The brain, like a muscle needs to be exercised, especially as you get older. So I like to kid myself that by doing my daily sudoku and playing scrabble with my sister on facebook I’m doing what I can. Also, it’s fun!

back!
We’ve been away again trying to sort out mum’s move although not sure now that’s what she really wants!
Anyway, I still got my photos done.
we found some old photos which mum enjoyed looking at
I hope everyone had a romantic day, ours wasn’t quite like that!
last night it was back to the important stuff, Spurs winning of course!
today the sun has been shining and despite having appointments and shopping to do, we were able to enjoy it for a while.

trying to be positive!
looking round the garden I noticed the bulbs were starting to appear, always a welcome sight.
Finding a home for mum is proving quite difficult, you go to look at a property full of hope only to meet another stumbling block!

at last!
I’ve been digi scrapping for quite a while now but have never printed anything out,but having been given a good site to go to for matt paper by my friend Sue, I finally did it today! I’m making an album of our walks this year, something that interests Ian as well, so I’m glad I finally took the plunge!

I’m also redoing another Jessica Sprague class my daughter bought me and I’ve never finished. So much to do and so little time, at least I’m never bored!

another cold day!
We made ourselves go out for a walk this morning despite the cold, windy weather.

I then came home and finished this card I made from a Kristina Werner class.
and this layout I did using the latest Sarah’s cards kit and a free class by Shimelle over on 2peas.The journalling will be done later when I get the details from Jenny.
I then spent ages doing an involved digi class by Jessica Sprague only to have my computer crash just before the end. That will teach me not to save as I go along as Jessica always tells us!!

my home
For the last lesson in the up and running class by Jessica Sprague we had to make a layout about our home. I changed this slightly by using photos of our little seaside town which Jenny had taken.
games
I have a confession to make. I love playing games on my computer. I have played World of Warcraft, Lord of the rings and my favourite, Everquest 2. I love the fact I can go on and play with my children and grandchildren where ever they are.

We often see this jay in our garden, the photo doesn’t do it justice as it was taken through the window, it is a very striking looking bird. I couldn’t imagine a world without birds, they always lift my spirits.
I’ve been busy scrapping with the latest Sarah’s cards kit today, a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
