more scrapping!

I've finally finished my scrap your day project, here is the final month.
and here is the cover.

I did this page of me at 19yrs with David, the picture is not very good but I love the way he is looking up at me, he was a little (well not that little) darling!
Our challenge went live on UKS this morning and we are getting some lovely comments about it, can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. here is the challenge

What a little darling!!

Did this layout yesterday of my darling number one son, isn't he a cutie!!!
I used a crop kit from sarah's cards which involved a lot of cutting round flowers which was quite difficult, but I'm quite pleased with the result. I'm going to try and scrap more of my older photos before I'm dead and gone!!

Day at the zoo

Peter, Ian and I went to the zoo yesterday. It was very windy and quite cold but we had a lovely time.
We saw a giant guinea pig.

This gorgeous tiger.

A gorilla having a good dream!

A wolf tried to out stare me.

A baby elephant. We also said hello to the baby elephant Zen fell in love with last year.
It's always good going with Peter as he knows so much about animals'
Today he got the keys for his new flat, I hope to take some photos of it on Saturday.

Our challenge

Made this layout ready for the secret stash strokers challenge on the 18th may over on UKS. It's a bit different to what I usually do, pink and girly, but I quite enjoyed it and managed to use an overlay I have had in my stash for ages!!
Jenny and I have bought a load more stamps, we are addicted, and I used the butterfly one on the layout.
Peter is here for a few days and we are helping him move on Tuesday, it will be so nice having him a bit nearer, he just needs to find a job now.
I've also been making a few more cards as standbys for the odd birthday coming up soon.
I've nearly finished Roswell which I've quite enjoyed and I'm steadily getting through dvds I've borrowed ready to return on our holiday.
Everything I've planted seems to be coming up and I'm soon going to be over run with tomatoes, peppers, butternut squash, peas, beans, onions etc, I somehow feel I am killing them if I throw some away!!

The Faraway Tree

Managed to do a DLO this morning for the SLYMI challenge to scrap the outdoors. These photos taken yesterday were perfect for the challenge.

We're all going out this afternoon, even Andrew, as there is a fair on and also the children want to play crazy golf.
Hope everyone else is having a nice day!

Druidstone Park

We took the children to Druidstone Park this morning.
We saw the Faraway Tree

The children wanted to climb to the top to see what land was there.

They had month old baby lambs that Jamie wanted to take home.

Jamie fed the ponies.

They all loved the pigs.

Alex enjoyed walking over the bridge.

They found a special place to have their picnic and ate and ate and ate!!!
We all had a great time and would recommend it for an outing.
