a quick post

I managed to do this layout today using a template from Hummie and the Dawn Inskip kit - enchanted meadow.

Life is hectic here at the moment so I'm not getting so much crafting done but that is usual during the summer. Now's the time to enjoy time with the family, the winter will be here before we know it!

Today we've had the children round and we have been playing cricket unfortunately I was enjoying the game too much to think about getting my camera. We have our eldest arriving for a few days on Saturday and between spoiling him rotten and enjoying his company I am determined to ignore his moans and take some photos.

York

a quick post today as I have been very busy playing a game on the computer!

This layout was done using a template from Hummie and a kit called carnival. The photos are from our recent holiday.

quick page

I did this layout yesterday using another template from Hummie and the lindsayjane cooked perfect kit.

Have Jenny coming round to be taught how to crochet, should be interesting, then later we are off to watch Jamie in a rounders tournament so that's my day taken care of!

quick layout

It's been another busy day helping take the grandchildren to new schools for a visit, how Jenny was meant to manage on her own I will never know. We now have them coming back for tea as there is a meeting at Jamie's new school so just have time to post this layout I did using a free Jessica Sprague template and a photo of Ian and I.

quick post

For some reason I feel very tired today so have just managed a quick layout using photos from yesterday, it's so easy with these lovely templates from Hummie.

digi scrapping

I did this layout of an old trip with the children to Druidstone Park. The template was by Hummie and the kit by Jessica Sprague.

A new free class starts over on Jessica Sprague's site and I'm looking forward to making some cards using her tips.

A new week

Another template from Hummie and the free kit from Jessica Sprague. The photos are from Becca's birthday last year.

Another week and the diet is still going well, 8lbs lost so far. This week I plan to up the exercise a bit, have a bowls match this morning so that's a start.

Father's Day

I had to do a layout of Ian today while he recovers from a roast dinner, sips a drink and eats some yummy chocs whilst watching the footie!

http://www.jessicasprague.com/ It's Jessica Sprague's 3rd birthday and to celebrate she and her team have been giving away a lot of digi papers and templates, I used one for the layout above. I've been busy downloading it all and it is lovely, thanks Jessica and co.

lazy Saturday

another layout using a template from Hummie and some papers from Jessica Sprague, the photos are from our recent holiday.

I'm still in shock from the appalling performance of our football team, I felt so sorry for the poor fans who had bought tickets, no wonder they booed! The team should be ashamed of themselves.

cats

I had a little play with another free template I downloaded, these are so easy to use.

Keeping it simple

Having seen a layout by Bernie using this template, I thought I would have a go. You can see hers http://berniedigilife.blogspot.com/. It was very hard keeping it simple but I am glad I did.

It has been another lovely day here and so we met up with Peter and went down to Viking Bay. Jenny and co were already there having gone to the beach early for breakfast. It was so nice and quiet Ed went in for a swim. We then took the children to Morelli's for an icecream and I am very proud of myself as I sat and watched them eating yummy sundaes and didn't have anything. Yes, I am back on my diet as I hate being FAT!!!

Holiday

I have made a start on scrapping my holiday using a template from Hummie and a kit by jmccarthy.

it's been another lovely day here so after some housework I have been out in the garden reading. Feeling very lazy I've also just sat and watched a dvd, The road to Perdition with a very old Paul Newman. How I loved his films, The Sting, Butch Cassidy, Hud, Cat on a hot tin roof, he had such gorgeous eyes! The film also starred Jude Law and Ton Hanks, but for me Paul was still the best.

busy, busy day!

A busy day here but I just had time for a little recreational fun using this free template from Lindsay Jane. I so want to find time for more crafting but the garden must come first!

schools

I love to see the children playing schools just like I used to.

a walk by the sea

I love living here and I love having such lovely places to walk and so I did this simple layout. I used a template but I'm not sure who by and a kit by jmccarthy .

Template

A quick page today using another pencil lines template, the photo is of the children patting a pig at Druidstone.
