I haven’t had time to make much over the last few weeks but with my sister’s birthday coming up I thought I would make a card.
I’d been given the Hero Arts Tiny Flags background stamp for Mother’s Day and wanted to try it out.
I had pinned a card by Jennifer McGuire here a while ago so gave the technique a go.

How are you all, I hope you had a good Easter?
It’s been very busy here again as we got ready for visitors.
Two special people came to stay and one of them was a very early riser. We were down on the beach, in the cold about 7am.
Grandad loves to see the horses.

We went to the Hornby Museum and played with the trains
and Evalina soon got the hang of the scaletric
but best of all was being with her cousins
The house was packed full of family and I spent a lot of time cooking but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Saturday evening we did manage to go out to see Suggs from Madness in his one man show, it was excellent.
I have some more news to share, I’ve been jogging. My youngest son went out with me at first armed with phone, not sure what he thought might happen!
I’m sorry I’ve been talking too much, I must go round your blogs and catch up on what you’ve been up to.

I’ve been a lucky girl this week with the post. I’ve just received this lovely postcard from Miriam. The message says Liberating my art, one card at a time. I hope it brightens your day.

After a nice morning out how lovely to come home and find a parcel waiting for me. Inside was this beautiful Easter banner sent all the way from America and made by Barbara

It’s beautiful here at the moment and although I’m very busy it’s lovely to take some time to chat. The month seems to have flown by with trips to see my mum and helping my son move. We’ve had to meet out by a seaside cafe as my house is a bit messy at the moment, lots of boxes waiting to find a new home. I wouldn’t have it any other way though, it’s nice to be needed.
I do hope you are all ok, I’ve been reading your blogs but haven’t had much time to comment, I’m afraid. Hopefully next month will be different but until then this short chat is all I have time for.
