Thursday

Had a busy day today washing and shopping, life is such fun! Jamie came round after school and amazed us with his magic tricks, mine didn't go down too well although I thought they were good.
Have soaked fruit ready for christmas cake, now need to do the rest of it, must bake it tomorrow. Have a bad headache so off to bed now,

Wednesday

Got up early and went to Asdas for weekly shop then off to Jenny's for a craft shop online, buying Christmas presents of course! Have bought some lovely basic grey christmas papers, determined to take some good photos this year, last year we went to Disneyland Paris and I feel I missed a lot of photo opportunities there.
Sorted out some more pressies and cards in the afternoon and feeling quietly smug!!

tuesday

Had a message from Santa which I shall ignore, no-one is that good!!
Busy day again, work was tiring as it was raining and the christmas tree was up which got all the little darlings over excited.
This afternoon I made 10 christmas cards while Ian wrapped some presents with a lot of moans and groans, I gave him the difficult shaped ones!!
Went to the library and got some good books to read so off to bed now.

Monday

Woke up feeling very grumpy, not like me at all! Decided to forget housework for the morning and go christmas shopping with Jenny. Bought Ed's present and some of Alex's so feel I am well on my way, just need to think about what I want as I keep being asked.
Came home and gave in and did housework, I worry about myself sometimes!
Unlike my daughter I watched very little television last night, played on computer instead!

Sunday

Completed another page for my scrapbook, one of mum when she was young wearing a very fetching hat!! So pleased with myself I took a photo of the last 3 pages I've done and some how managed to scratch my lovely dining table, feel fed up now. Completed another cross stitch too, now I need to iron them and put into a card, must finish for Saturday when I am delivering Christmas presents.

saturday

Got up early to go into Canterbury for the Euro market and to buy Christmas presents, the weather had been terrible during the night but fortunately cleared for our trip. Bought quite a few pressies and lots of indian sauces at the euro market
Played on Everquest in the afternoon with my boys! Then watched S.C.D on television, I like Mark and Karen best and Matt and Lillia.
Must do some more craft tomorrow.

Friday

Have just been on Jenny's blog and am amazed to see her doing some cooking and attempting to tidy up, I think the hoover blowing up was a bit of a coincidence though
Have been to school for lunch hour and was determined to make the top table for the children who have been very good all week a bit more special, pinched the headmistress' flowers!
Have been sorting out another photo to scrap so will attempt that in a minute

Thursday

Have had a very busy day today, had the grandchildren for tea! That means I have taken part in a dance competition, played zoo tycoon and discussed with jamie why Heskey does not deserve such a high score on his shootout cards!
After tea went to scrapbook crop with Jenny and completed a very nice page with my in-laws wedding photo, it was nice to come home satisfied with what I had done. To finish the day nicely Ian had a filter coffee on and we watched Take two together, I'm easily pleased! Will try and take photo of my page to put on blog'

Wednesday

Got up early and did the ironing, what a fun start to the day! We then went to Asdas to do the weekly shop, bumping into Jenny on the way round, spent far too much as usual. Went to work and had a nice cuddle from Alex.
In the afternoon decided to attempt to put a slide show on my blog with Jenny's help of course! This actually worked quite well as can be seen on my page.
In the evening found kichen sink was leaking so spent a nice couple of hours fixing that. Went to bed determined to get up and sort out my stuff for crop in the evening, will I be allowed to? Wait and see tomorrow!

tuesday

Had a very busy couple of days, sad to see everyone go home yesterday but glad they all got back safely. Disaster struck in Jenny's house when Becca got hold of scissors and tried to scalp herself, she now has a unique hairstyle!
Today I went shopping with Jen and she tried to give me a lesson in making my blog more interesting, unfortunately her internet went down. Tried to download a photo album but my computer wouldn't let me, so feeling a bit fed up. Played everquest but find the new game a bit confusing, still didnt get round to doing another scrapbook page so a not very productive day, will try again tomorrow!

sunday

Had a nice day today although very tiring. Played on Everquest, made crumble for pudding and cooked roast beef dinner. In the afternoon took grandchildren out on a secret mission although dont know how long it will remain secret! They were all very good and came round for tea afterwards, Jamie watched spurs with the men and Alex and Becca played on the computer. Zen helped me make tea for everyone, I've never seen my kitchen in such a mess! Very tired now so off to bed soon, would like to watch Lost but cant stay up that late, will start 24 soon instead.

saturday

Got up early to get ready for guests and go to Marks for food!! Daren't get any earlier or Andrew would eat it all ( back in reality now after yesterdays fantasy) David, Zen and Peter arrived about 10.30am, nice to see them all. Enjoyed demonstration at Wyevales although thought she would do a complete page, got some ideas though and Zen got a goody box Jamie came round to play with the uncles and beat David at football. Had tea the watched Strictly come dancing, a bit disappointing this week I thought. Peter went out which saved the embarassment of watching his jive! Early to bed as have a busy dat tomorrow.

friday 17th november

Have just had a traumatic time choosing template, title etc for my blog, need a coffee and some chocolate to recover. Not wishing to let my daughter get one up on me have decided to start this blog today. I am a wife, mother of 4 and nan to 3. Having moved to the seaside to relax and enjoy myself I find I'm busier than ever looking after grandchildren, working lunchtime at a school, playing on the computer and attempting scrapbooking, cardmaking and cross stitch. Today I have been getting ready for my 2 sons and daughter-in-law who are visiting for the weekend, I should really be baking some cakes this afternoon as I like to spoil them, much to my daughter's disgust. I have 1 son at home who is a great help to me with the garden and any jobs around the house I shall miss him when he leaves home. My husband is a keen gardener and spends most of his time pottering. I will try and add to my blog daily bye for now
